SHOULDER REHABILITATION

Does your shoulder hurt when you raise your arm?

Whether you have chronic shoulder pain, an acute injury, require post-operative care for rotator cuff surgery, or seek specific shoulder/sports injury therapy, our shoulder therapy program focuses on restoring range of motion, strength, and function.

Don't put up with shoulder impingement

The goal of treatment is to reduce pain and restore function. In planning your treatment, we will consider your age, activity level, and general health as well as your personal goals.

Protect yourself against re-injury

Rotator cuff injuries or repairs can be susceptible to re-injury. The professionals at Summit Physical Therapy will direct and progress your program, as well as provide tips to avoid re-injury.

Tendinitis treatment

Tendinitis is most often caused by repetitive, minor impact on the affected area, or from a sudden, more serious injury.

The goals of treatment are to restore movement to the joint without pain and to maintain strength while giving the tissues time to heal. Returning too soon to the activity that caused the injury can lead to chronic tendinitis.
